Please join HandsOn Bay Area for a TeamWorks Series focused on "Leveling the Playing Field in an Urban Landscape." Participants will deepen their understanding of inequities within education, housing, health, and criminal justice and explore how to create a level playing field for families and individuals. Participants will discover organizations that are doing innovative work to level the playing field in the East Bay and learn more about themselves and the power of volunteerism.

Through TeamWorks, a team of 15-20 volunteers will work together on a series of learning opportunities, events and volunteer projects. Such experiences will allow participants to build strong relationships with their fellow team members as they learn about social justice issues and how together they can address the underlying disparities facing our community. The series will take place between August 13th and September 3rd in the East Bay.
