Maintenance Coordinator
The position will support the department's objective to maintain and continuously improve the performance of production equipment, utility systems and building with strict consideration of safety, food safety, product quality, security and compliance to regulating agencies. Provide timely and efficient support to the maintenance department and other departments.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: (Accountabilities the WHAT. Accountabilities: (3:5)
:Ensures maintenance PM and MR work orders are planned, scheduled, issued and completed within timeline
:Ensures that identified spares and critical parts are always readily available through effective storeroom management
:Ensures parts room, chemical cage and maintenance shops are always kept organized in a manner where missing items are visibly identifiable
:Ensures that all activities performed within the facility are in compliance with regulatory/company safety, quality and environmental regulations.
:Participates in company and departmental initiatives and improvement programs.
:Learn, develop and share skills/knowledge essential to the success of the department.
:Works to maintain and improve on the quality, legality and safety of each product and the processes used in their manufacture
:Plan, schedule, assign and issue PM and MR work orders ensuring timely completion on a weekly basis.
:Files all maintenance records in an organized manner for quick access.
:Manage spare parts inventory control, create/extend parts to the bakery in SAP, add/remove inventory as they are receive/used, organize parts shop, and perform routine cycle counts.
:Work with vendor partners for continuous improvement for vendor support, better pricing and improved lead time.
:Weekly send out maintenance hours report to production.
:Twice a week, send out work orders scheduled for the week.
:Ensure scheduled work orders are confirmed, closed in the system and filed at the end of the week.
:Responds to production and facility needs in a timely and efficient manner to achieve internal customer satisfaction and meet daily production requirement.
:Consistently follow defined departmental work flow, policies and procedures.
:Accurately document activities as described by the department's reporting requirements.
:Actively communicate all conditions of the activities and work environment critical to ensure safety, security, quality and production performance.
:Actively participates in all training activities and takes initiative to increase own skill and knowledge essential to job and departmental performance.
:Participate in energy conservation and waste minimization program.
:Support Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) activities.
:Actively participate in continuous improvement and lean projects.
:Comply with all company policies and procedures (safety, quality, environmental, regulatory, etc.)
:Performs other duties as assigned.
