We are looking for a Solutions Architect to define infrastructure solutions in support of the client's objectives corresponding to clinical, administrative and I.T. enterprise initiatives related to a hospital construction project.

Location: Newark, CA and Palo Alto, CA*
Job Type: 6 Months Contract, possibly Contract:To:Perm
Authorization: US
Citizen or Permanent Resident

*Time will be split between both locations. Onsite: Mon : Thurs Remote: Fri (could be adjusted to more Remote days; subject to hiring manager's decision).

:Education : Bachelor's Degree (or higher) preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
:Solutions Architect : minimum 10 years of solutions architecture or equivalent experience in relevant architecture domain; experience white:boarding solutions and options in customer:facing situations; demonstrated success on quickly understanding business requirements and aligning capabilities to solutions; proven track record of designing scalable, manageable and highly available technical solutions; extensive infrastructure experience (compute, storage, virtualization, network, end user devices, etc.), familiarity with prevalent storage technologies, understanding of service oriented architectures, expert level experience with public and private cloud services (VMware, AWS, Google, Azure, etc.) and knowledge of security solutions and security best practices
:Healthcare/Hospital IT : previous experience in healthcare/hospital IT infrastructure and knowledge of healthcare/clinical applications (e.g. Epic, PACS, Safetrace TX, Ensemble, Nurse Call, Omnicell, Genomics, etc.)
:Tools : proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook and collaboration tools
:Other Required Experience/Skill : Standard Lifecycle, Documentation, Soft Skills/Diplomacy, Communication Skills, Tactical (less Strategic) Skills
