The 10'x13' room includes a closet and is furnished with a new queen size bed with memory foam mattress, and dresser. There is plenty of room to add a desk, TV, etc...(not included) if desired. All utilities are included, including 50Mb internet and WiFi. The home is 1300 square feet and includes many amenities such as: open floor plan, granite countertops, new appliances (fridge, stove, washer/dryer, dishwasher), new furniture, new dual-pane windows, and central heat. The location is a commuter's dream being only a minute from 92 and 880, 10 minutes from 580, and 9 minute drive to Hayward BART. Less than 5 minutes away is Jackson Square which offers a Safeway, Walgreens, Chase, Starbucks, 24-hour fitness, and many eateries. The owners and current tenants are a couple in our 30's - both Silicon Valley working professionals. Erica works as an Event Manager at a well-known technology company in Menlo Park. Will works as a Systems Engineer at an established design consultancy firm in San Francisco and his hobbies include motorcycles and PC gaming. In our spare time, we enjoy heading to the mountains for snowboarding in the winter, or camping and hiking in the summer. We also enjoy a bit of wine tasting (Livermore valley is only 30 minutes away) ,grabbing a beer at a local brewery or taphouse, or experiencing the great eateries the Bay Area offers. On a weeknight we can typically be found enjoying a meal at home, going out to the movies, or watching Netflix/HBO/Amazon shows. We are respectful, low-key, easy to get along with, and clean. The ideal tenant would be around our age, low-key, respectful, a non-smoker, and active in keeping common spaces clean (dining room, living room, kitchen, laundry area, front and back yards). They should be responsible and financially stable with a good rental history. We would like to start the tenancy as a 3 month lease and transition to a longer term lease if the tenant is a good fit. Approved tenants will be required to provide a credit and background check paid by them directly to a 3rd party for $40 (you will receive copies of both for your own records), as well as providing proof of employment. Disclaimer - Since the house is adjacent to 880, people with a high sensitivity to road noise may not be a good fit.
