Berkeley Dog & Cat Hospital currently has a full time position available at our front desk as a Client Service Representative. This is a busy 16-doctor practice, open 24-hours a day and we need your love for animals, enthusiasm, honesty, positive attitude, organizational skills, and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills and have effective team interaction.

Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Client Service Representative preferably in a veterinary hospital. Must be proficient and prepared for the following responsibilities:

Manage multi-line phone system
Accurately and efficiently direct calls
Schedule appointments
Triage emergencies
Obtain and record accurate client data and medical records
Give accurate information to clients and doctors
Work independently and with efficiency
Be a team player
Cornerstone software experience a plus
Shift will vary depending on the needs of the front desk. Candidate must be willing and able to work weekends, holidays and an occasional swing shift
